Aquatmos Sandfilter

Sand filter is durable, anti-corrosive, UV-resistant and user-friendly mechanical filter which is suitable for many different weather
conditions, such as aquamarine, koi pond, pet shop central filtering system, swimming pools, in-ground spas, it has many
different style such as top mount sand filter, side mount sand filter, deep bed sand filter, horizontal sand filter, etc. The backwash operating can be manual or automatic, the water flowrate rangesfrom6m3/hto250m3/h 0r above. Following are top mount small sand filters with manual backwash function, quartz sand is included and water pump can be equipped when required.

Sand filters, Colliquip brand

These filters can be used with koi ponds with either silica or zeolite filter substrate. The use of zeolite, a natural porous stone structure material, also allows the development of the sand filter for solids removal as a biofilter for management of ammonia and nitrite in live animal recirculation systems such as koi ponds. These non-corrosive filtration systems are also used by clubs, schools, hotels and municipalities.

For biofiltration with zeolite, a mixture of silica sand and zeolite is advised.

Speck sand filters

The BADU Koi sand filter has a new unique quick release lid for easy manual back washing and maintenance, together with the smooth operating side mounted multiport valve. This makes the filter user friendly and simple to operate.

The BADU Koi sand filter has a Roto-moulded one piece polyethylene tank, for strength and leakage prevention

The sand filter has an automatic air relief system.

B Series sand filters: horizontal sand filters

These mechanical, commercial sand filters are made of polyetser reinforced with fibreglass (FRP). The filters have no corroding internal parts and good chemical and thermal resistance.
