Woven wire stainless steel mesh

We  supply a variety of stainless steel, copper, aluminum (aluminium), brass meshes and sintered metal mesh. The widest range of mesh in South Africa is T304 standard stainless steel. The wire mesh made of stainless steel is extensively used in mining,  chemical industry, food industry and pharmaceutical industry. Other mesh types may need to be imported. Less commonly available is Type 302, 304, 304L, 316, 316L, 321 and 430 stainless steel.

T-316 or 316L is commonly used in coastal environments with high salt and therefore high corrosion potential.

Mesh weave types. Plain weave is most common, followed by Dutch weave, twilled and twilled Dutch respectively.

In South Africa 304 stainless steel mesh is usually available in all mesh sizes, while 316 stainless steel is not always a stock item and needs to be imported.
