Hydrosense ONE Ultra Legionella Industrial Kit

This Legionella test kit is ideal where repeated sampling of the same water outlet is required. It can detect ≥100 CFU/L and is our most sensitive multi-test kit for detecting Legionella pneumophila serogroup 1 (sg1), the cause of around 90% of Legionnaires’ disease.

Simply attach our outlet adaptor and leave it in place ready for the next scheduled testing according to your water management program.

An excellent choice for territories and industries where more stringent action levels are required. Recommended for high-risk areas such as industrial cooling towers, large water systems in hotels, healthcare, residential and commercial properties.

Features:

The test detects Legionella pneumophila serogroup 1 by connecting our convenient adaptor to standard plumbing connections (US ½ inch NPT and ¾ inch BPT fittings) and shower hoses. Our unique Hydrosense filter technology is then attached to the adaptor for water to flow through, trapping any bacteria present.

The test uses Lateral Flow Immunochromatographic Assay (LFICA) technology (same technology used in Covid-19 and pregnancy tests). It isolates the bacteria and distinctly identifies the presence of serogroup 1 (sg1) on a test line with a control line to confirm the test has worked effectively.

This information enables the user to identify the presence of Legionella pneumophila sg1 risk, supporting immediate remedial action. Results are delivered onsite meaning no long waits for lab culture reports.

This test detects Legionella pneumophila sg1 levels of ≥100 CFU/L (0.1 CFU/ml).

VALIDITY OF THE HYDROSENSE ONE ULTRA TEST

HIGH SENSITIVITY AND SPECIFICITY:

The Hydrosense ONE Lateral Flow Test Kit successfully detects Legionella pneumophila serogroup 1 with high sensitivity and specificity, maintaining a high detection level when combined with the filtration kit provided (100 CFU/L for a 250 mL sample).

VERSATILE TEST CONDITIONS:

Displays robustness under varying conditions without compromising results.

NO CROSS-REACTIVITY:

Demonstrates no interference from other common waterborne bacteria or non-pneumophila species of Legionella.

TOLERANCE TO WATER CONDITIONS:

Performs reliably even in hard water and high alkalinity conditions
