PPE, PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT, FOGGING SUIT, PROTECTIVE CLOTHING
To support work with the ULV and thermal foggers, we supply personal protective equipment. See the personal protective equipment-2022 document for a basic set of clothing for eye, respiratory, body and hand protection needed during chemical applications.
For respiratory protection there are filters for specific gases and environments. We would need to know your specific application so as to select the correct filters.
A P2/N95 type filter is able to filter out very fine particles from the air. They help reduce exposure to bushfire, smoke, poor air quality and associated environmental health effects.
Combined filter B1P2 protects against: •. Inorganic gases and vapours e.g. chlorine, hydrogen sulphide and hydrogen cyanide. Generally they protect against solid and liquid toxic particles.
A1P2 filters protect against organic gas and vapour, as released from solvents, lacquers and glue, as well as against solid and liquid particles that are hazardous to health.
